Facial Plastic Surgery at Des Moines Plastic SurgeryEyelid surgery (technically called blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove fat--usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Brow lift surgery allows the tissue and muscle beneath the skin to be repositioned, altered or removed, correcting the source of visible creases and furrows in the forehead. Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. Facelift surgery can improve the deep cheek folds, jowls and loose, sagging skin around the neck that come with age. The best candidate for a facelift is a man or woman whose face and neck have begun to sag, but whose skin still has some elasticity and whose bone structure is strong and well-defined. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. Facial plastic surgery before and after photos document the transformation several of our patients have undergone during their experience here at Des Moines Plastic Surgery. |
