Deb B. - RN, CPSN

Deb is a seasoned nurse and has worked in the operating room setting since 1997. She is one of the few Certified Plastic Surgery Nurses in the state of Iowa. Deb has been with Des Moines Plastic Surgery since Dr. Robbins opened his doors in West Des Moines. Her main responsibility is the Operating Room Manager. She orders all OR supplies, manages the surgery schedule, preps the patients, and helps Dr. Robbins in surgery. Deb also attends patient consults and pre-ops and helps in clinic when needed. She is dedicated to assist her patients throughout the whole surgical experience; from the initial consultation to the post-operative recovery period. She continues to educate herself through ASPSN (the American Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses) to provide patients with the most up to date information on surgical care. She also holds many certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).

Mindy M. - MSN, CRNA

Mindy is a nurse anesthetist with 7 years of anesthesia experience in the Des Moines area. She started her nursing career in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Since completion of her master’s anesthesia education at the University, she has provided anesthetic services for a wide variety of surgical cases and patient populations. She has administered quality anesthesia to the patrons of Des Moines Plastic Surgery (DMPS) since the doors first opened in 2006. Mindy has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). As an anesthesia business owner, she divides her time between DMPS and Broadlawns Medical Center. She resides in Ankeny and enjoys raising her two children along side her husband. On a professional level, she is the current president of the Iowa Associations of Nurse Anesthetists and will be starting her doctoral program next fall.

Sheila B. - RN

Sheila has worked at Des Moines Plastic Surgery for over 4 years. Her expertise is Botox and filler injections and permanent makeup. She has worked in the plastic surgery field serving in many different positions since 1988. Sheila has been doing permanent makeup for over 12 years and is an expert at eyeliner and eyebrow tattooing (i.e. Micropigmentation or permanent makeup). She has over 8 years experience doing Botox and as well as filler injections such as Juvederm and Radiesse. She is great with people and will make you feel comfortable and at ease during any of these procedures.

Jackie T. - RN

Jackie graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Jackie has a variety of nursing experience in the hospital, clinic, and surgical settings. While specializing in aesthetic nursing she is sure to take care of the patient every step along the way. Jackie has accumulated over 5 years of experience with cosmetic injectables such as Botox cosmetic, Juvederm, and Radiesse. She is actively involved in our Laser Center which offers laser hair removal services along with skin resurfacing and tattoo removal.
