Obagi® is a product line that offers aggressive correction quickly. Obagi® Nu-Derm System is a physician prescribed skin care system that will accelerate cellular turnover. The Nu-Derm system incorporates lightening agents, exfoliants, and sunscreen to help improve pigmentation; create smoother, healthier skin; minimize fine lines; and improve skin's firmness.

As the Obagi® system is a more aggressive approach to correction; your skin will go through several phases during the course of the treatment schedule. In the first phase you should expect some redness, flaking, and irritation for the first 2-3 months of using the products. In the second phase, your skin will build a tolerance to the flaking and will be working to create healthier new cells. In the third phase, your skin will be working to rebuild and restore collagen and elastin for firmer skin and also pigmentation will begin to even out. In the fourth phase, you will enjoy new, healthy skin.  This process takes approximately 6 months.  Each patient experience is different and the length of time to accomplish each patients goals are different as well.
