Stacy Murphy is a state-licensed physician assistant (PA-C) and part of Dr. David Robbins’ surgical team at Des Moines Plastic Surgery. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has more than 11 years of surgical and clinical experience.
Stacy guides patients through every stage of their care: the first consultation, pre-op visits, the operating room, and follow-up appointments. She works alongside Dr. Robbins in the practice’s AAAASF-accredited on-site operating suite, so the person who answers your questions before surgery is also in the room on surgery day.
When she’s not with patients, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family and getting out on the golf course.

What Does PA-C Mean?
The “C” in PA-C stands for certified. It means the physician assistant has passed the NCCPA national certification exam and keeps that certification current through ongoing continuing medical education and periodic recertification. You can confirm any PA’s status through the NCCPA verification portal.
