Stacy Murphy – Physician Associate
Stacy is a state licensed Physician Assistant (PA) accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University after receiving her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. She has over 11 years of both surgical and clinical experience as a Physician Assistant. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She provides care and education for patients during consultations, pre-op visits, assisting in the operating room and follow up visits. Outside of the practice, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family and golfing.
Chasity Vajgrt – RN, BSN
Chasity received her Registered Nurse certification from the Mercy College of Health Sciences and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She has over a decade of experience in nursing in both surgery and clinic settings. Chasity holds certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). In her free time she enjoys being with her family, running, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
Mindy Miller – MSN, CRNA
Mindy is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with 13 years of anesthesia experience in the Des Moines area. She started her nursing career in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Since completion of her master’s in Nursing at the University of Iowa, she has provided anesthetic services for a wide variety of surgical cases and patient populations. She has administered quality anesthesia to the patrons of Des Moines Plastic Surgery™ since the doors first opened in 2006. Mindy has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
As an anesthesia business owner, she divides her time between Des Moines Plastic Surgery™ and several small rural facilities throughout Iowa. She resides in Ankeny and enjoys raising her two children. On a professional level, she was the past president of the Iowa Associations of Nurse Anesthetists and is currently active in her state and national organizations.
